On the advise of Amy of the Amy & Simon Blog I decided to try EnviroKidz Gorilla Munch Gluten Free Cereal, and while it is a hit with my daughter and niece, it’s a no-go for A-man. So while I’m a big fan of this cereal, I’ve been secretly snacking on it, the hunt is still on for the perfect O’s cereal for the little guy. Darcy of ASDMommy commented about Perky-O gluten free cereal so I’m going to check that one out next.
So a huge thumbs up for EnviroKidz and this scrumptious cereal! Another thing I’ve noticed is when I discuss the gluten free diet with the clueless people, they’ll say how they just don’t believe that gluten could adversely affect a child’s brain… I’ve stopped even arguing the research with people, they just don’t get it. Anyway, that was my tiny rant for the day, now I’m going to go to P90X Stretch!

Apparently Rice Chex in the states are now gluten free too. They sound a little hardier than the gorilla munch. My kids love that stuff. One box = one breakfast.
that came out wrong – my kids love the gorilla much. We haven’t tried the rice chex – not in canada, at least I can’t find it.
EnviroKidz also makes a cereal called Panda Puffs that taste like Captain Crunch. Also for breakfast ideas, Pamela’s baking mix is wonderful and easy to use-make AWESOME banana bread, muffins, waffles, and pancakes. No one ever knows they are gluten free (and they freeze well, so you can save some for when you’re in a rush). Kinnickinick makes delicious glazed donuts for mornings you want to splurge.
